• Knowledge Enhancement: It is very important to make youth aware of the harmful effects of child marriage. If they understand how child marriage hinders children’s physical, mental, and social development, they can help prevent it.
• Creating Awareness in Society: Youth can create awareness among their families, friends, and communities. Discussions and workshops against child marriage can be organized in schools, colleges, or social forums.
• Understanding Laws and Policies: Youth should be informed about the legal provisions against child marriage in the country. If they know that marriage before the age of 18 is illegal, they can help implement this law within their families and society.
• Providing Social Support: Assisting youth who are victims of child marriage, creating educational opportunities for them, and building their confidence so that they can make the right decisions in the future.
• Changing Adverse Environments: If youth change their own behavior, thinking, and values, they can influence other members of society. For example, if they take a strong stance against child marriage, people around them may join their efforts.

The program was organized by the Upazila Youth Development Department with the support of Shadhin Youth Development Organization, highlighting the important role of youth in preventing child marriage.
