Learning to work by hand and pen, “building” your own future Swadhin Youth Development Organization has inaugurated and started its activities of the free “Cutting and Sewing Machine Training” project with the slogan “Learning to work by hand and pen, building your own future”.

The program held at the organization’s conference hall room at 10:30 am on Saturday was attended by Md. Rakibul Islam, Executive Director of Swadhin Youth Development Organization, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. TSM Fida Hasan, Upazila Youth Development Assistant Officer Tanmoy Karmakar, Executive Director of Agradut Organization Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and journalists from various media.

Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. TSM Fida Hasan said, “Women are becoming self-reliant by learning manual work and are also playing an important role in the financial well-being of their families. This training by Swadhin Youth Development Organization will further advance their progress.”

 The organization has been working for the welfare of underprivileged and helpless people since 2009. Through this project, 100 women have been provided free sewing machine training and certificates have been distributed, which will help them develop their skills and become self-reliant.
