Place: Bhola Deputy Commissioner's Office

A cheque distribution ceremony for donations of 2022-2023 provided by the Bangladesh National Social Welfare Council among 48 private voluntary organizations was organized by the District Administration and Social Services Department in Bhola district.

At the ceremony, with the permission of Honorable Arifuzzaman, Deputy Commissioner, Bhola, Mr. Md. Alamgir Hussain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) distributed the cheques. Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office Md. Nazrul Islam was present at the time.

Md. Rakibul Islam, Executive Director, Swadhin Jubo Unnayan Sangstha, accepted the cheques from among the 45 organizations. Journalists from other voluntary organizations, print and electronic media of Bhola were also present at the ceremony.

 The program aims to support the expansion of voluntary organizations' activities and further encourage their role in social service.
