Swadhin Yuva Unnayan Sangstha has conducted an activity to make the coastal population of Shibpur Union, Ward No. 1 and 2 of Bhola Sadar Upazila aware of cyclone preparedness. Under the leadership of the organization's Executive Director Md. Rakibul Islam, the local people were informed in detail about the preparations and actions to be taken to deal with risky situations.

At this time, the people were made aware of the necessary steps to ensure the safety of life and property in a cyclone, such as safe shelters, emergency supplies, warning signals, and rules to ensure safety including family. In addition, leaflets were distributed, posters were displayed, and face-to-face discussions were held to increase awareness among the residents.

Active participation of the local people was observed in this activity, which will increase their capacity to deal with natural disasters in the future and will play an important role in ensuring the safety of life and property.
